Teach Me 2 charges its customers anything between R300-R350 per hour, while the tutor's rate is automatically set from this and varies between R145-R190 per hour.

For a one hour lesson, you receive an amount of R155 per lesson, which includes a contribution towards your travel costs. However, when it comes to 2 hours lessons, this hourly rate will decrease because you are only driving to and from the venue once for each lesson. The client also pays us less per hour, because the traveling costs are only factored in once.

We encourage you to get into the routine of double checking what your hourly rate would be before applying for any positions. This helps keep the expectations clear. You can find this information by looking at the 'details' shared listed under the job application.
